Businessowners Policy

Rental Dwelling Protection Program
As an independent landlord, American Family’s Rental Dwelling Protection Program provides you the coverage you need on one- and two-family rental units, at an affordable rate. As a rental dwelling policyholder, you also have access to a discount of almost 75 percent on unlimited tenant screenings through our partnership with Transunion, as well as property management resources such as sample forms and applications.
Business Key Policy
Because every business is different, the American Family Business Key Policy is flexible, allowing you to pick and choose the insurance coverage your business needs. Choose from property, general liability, inland marine and crime coverages as well as many additional coverage options.
Contractors Package Program
The American Family Insurance Contractors Package Program is specially designed for artisan contractors with 10 or fewer employees. The program combines the two coverages you need most: Commercial General Liability and Contractors Equipment. The program is flexible, allowing you to include optional coverages (for example, building and business personal property, or installation floater) to best meet the needs of your business.
Business Auto Policy
The American Family Business Auto Policy provides insurance for your business vehicles or fleets. Whether you use your company autos to meet with customers, make deliveries or provide services, a Business Auto Policy provides liability coverage in case of bodily injury or damage to someone else’s property, as well as collision and comprehensive coverage for your vehicles. In addition, our Business Auto Policy will cover any auto, hired or non-owned, being used to conduct business for you.
Workers Compensation and Employers Liability Policy (not available in all states)
The American Family Workers Compensation and Employers Liability Coverage policy combines two separate coverages to meet the insurance needs created by workers compensation laws and regulations in each state.
Commercial Umbrella Policy
Our Commercial Liability Umbrella Policy is designed to give you added protection against the financial consequences of major accidents or incidents. It picks up where your underlying business insurance liability coverage ends, providing extra liability coverage over your primary limits.
